Lore of the Town

The simple and small town of Windwick is the only established settlement of The Wold. It is used by the lord and his people to keep watch of the lands as most of the  Men of Rohan living in the lands of The Wold were nomadic people grazing cattle. The settlement of Windwick was not established in Rohan until the early Fourth Age. The founder and lord of Windwick was Wídfara, after the War of the Ring he wanted a more permanent settlement to rally the people of his home land in The Wold.
