Mistil of Cair Andros

Herein lies the tales and conquest of Lady Mistil and the line of Cair Andros.

First account of the line of Andros

The story begins not with the current Lady of Cair Andros but rather her Father and Mother. The father of Lady Mistil was a strong soldier of Rohan serving during the war of the ring, it is during this war that he was fated to meet his love the Lady of Cair Andros, Uirien. Their meeting was soon after the battle of the Pelinor fields, as Lady Uirien during this time was dwelling in the capital of Minas Tirith. Her father had passed not long before in the conflicts that turned Cair Andros from a beautiful Island to a bloody one, and she now stayed there as the last of her line. Héogar of Rohan the soldier fated to Uirien would come to the city after the sieges end to tend his wounds and ready for what was to come. Lady Uirien came to help tend the brave souls and would happen upon Héogar, this meeting would be the first and the start of their lives together though it would not be the best of tails. For after the war they would soon wed with the blessing of the king, and they would have a lovely child, it is said that the birth of your first child would be the best of days. For Héogar it was his best and worst, as his child came into the world his wife would depart, passing his love for her to his love of Mistil.

Héogar in the coming years would do all he could for Mistil, teaching her to ride and taking her on trips as far as Edoras from their Island home. She was taught to fight from a young age both on foot and horse, for her father wished her safe above all else. He was not raised a noble but as a common man, the strength of one's arm was the best protection of all to him. Though he was born common he did rise to the acting lord of Cair Andros and made sure Mistil was educated, taking her with him to court any chance he got letting her meet all kinds of people including the King Elessar himself. Héogar had a good life with his daughter and treasured her above all else, though he would soon join his wife falling to those in the far east during the long war against the men of Rhun.
