The Archer of Arnor
Herein lies the tales and conquest of Eliion Farsight.
First account of Eliion
It was a cool April day, the second day of a long battle, a perfect day for a warrior's death. Yet on this day there would be no such death for the Men of the West, today would be the birth of a legend like no other. This is the day that they say all remaining evil ran away due to fear, it is said that just the mention of his name is enough to make all of the East cower in terror. This soldier, who had fought battles on every front in the War of The Ring, would be made a legend and hero this fateful day. This is the tale of Eliion Farsight, The Archer of Arnor, bane of the east, reclaimer of Osgiliath, terror of Khamûl, Guard of the King, Lord of the North Woods, Arrow of Death, and protector of Éomer King.
The true tale begins with King Elessar the first yelling at our brave hero, “Eliion, you fucking idiot stop hiding behind that damn tree!” and Eliion in his brilliant wisdom replied with, “What tree?” King Elessar just sighs and orders his men back over the North bridge of Cair Andros, but alas Eliion takes notice of the waters that run under the bridge and says. “Hey guys… there is water here!” King Elessar yells, “Eliion stop messing around! We need you here, get over the damn bridge!” Eliion is too busy distracted by the waters of the Anduin and ignores the order. Éomer calls to Elessar, “the cavalry is coming, leave him.” Elessar replies, “No matter how desperate, no matter the odds, no matter the risk, we shall not leave a man to die here! Even if he is not the brightest of men, we must get him the hell out of there Éomer.” Éomer, hearing his friends' request, rushes to the aid of this lone archer as the enemy cavalry charges head on. The pounding of the enemy's horses echo through the air as they come ever closer, the horses upset the waters near the shores of the river. Eliion is left unhappy at the sight of the beautiful water being upset for he loves the sight of the natural river. Around him Éomer’s men rush to the tree where Eliion stands, yet Éomer lets out a shout in the chaos, “Oh, shit my sword has fallen from my side!” He then turns around to look for his sword and while doing so is struck by an arrow dismounting him from his mighty steed, as he is falling and his men make ready for the enemy's charge he hears something in expected. The sound of metal clanging on the ground and the cry of horse from where there was once the thunder of hooves. While bringing himself up in pain he is left in utter disbelief at the sight before him, for he is now gazing upon the entire enemy cavalry dead before his eyes. Each man lay still with arrows through their eyes and the horses run spooked by their riders' death. Éomer, still in shock, brings his gaze now to Eliion, who's bow has been set a flame by the sheer speed of the draw and quiver left empty. Éomer King of Rohan stands before this simple man speechless as he has just met the greatest archer in all of Arnor, maybe even in the whole of Middle Earth. However, in that next moment after Eliion gave a statement not soon forgotten over the great feat, “Those men made the water sad.” And Éomer was brought back to thought as he realized this man was also the biggest idiot to ever reside in the whole of Arda.
This is ends the account and beginning of the tale of how Eliion Farsight became one of the greatest hero's of the The Reunited Kingdom and the personal friends of both King Elessar and King Éomer.
